The purpose of the Shale Shaker is two-fold: First to keep members informed of the activities of the Society and its membership; second, to encourage the exchange and dissemination of technical information related to the Geological profession. The Shale Shaker encourages contributions from Society members and welcomes contributions from all sources. It neither subscribes to nor opposes the views expressed in signed articles.
